*UPDATED 14 MAY 2020*
As of mid-May 2020 in alignment with relaxed government measures, Prudential Real Estate offices are now able to deliver services from office premises, but may still conduct private or virtual appointments wherever necessary. With cloud-based technology already in place, all of our offices are equipped with proficient systems to handle all communication remotely – whether that be by phone call, video conference or online chat.
Please find the updated details of new government measures and best practices for the real estate industry below. Should you have any specific questions or concerns, we encourage you to get in contact with your agent or property manager, the details of whom are also provided below.
Buyers & Sellers
Open Homes: As of 9 May 2020, open home inspections can now take place under relaxed government measures. Following six weeks of shutdowns to open homes, home seekers may now attend an upcoming open inspection on-site with strict hygiene measures and social distancing rules still in place. Those seeking to attend an open home may only enter if they are not experiencing any symptoms of illness, and may be required to provide ID and/or contact details under new government contact tracing guidelines. Attendees must ensure that they thoroughly sanitise prior to entering any property and do not touch any surfaces, and may also be required to wait in line at opens that are popular or for properties limited in space. For more details on opens, please click here.
Private Inspections: Private inspections are still available for those who wish to see a property in their own time. Some properties will have the option of a virtual inspection also. To request or arrange for a private inspection, please get in contact with the listing agent.
Auctions: As of May 9 2020, auctions have also recommenced with limited numbers and physical distancing guidelines followed. For more information, please click here.
